So maybe you called him Sleepy Joe and had a good laugh when he stammered. But if you are honest with yourself, you didn’t worry when you got up each morning about what crazy-ass thing he would do next to endanger our security, our health, our jobs, our environment, our savings or our national economy.
A few months ago, we had the healthiest economy of any industrialized country in the world. We had low unemployment and an upward-trending stock market. We worked cooperatively with our allies and had their trust. That’s all changing now.
If you aren’t worried, it likely means you are still buying into the lies of a conman, who weaseled his way to the presidency with false promises and massive political donations from a billionaire. It means you are probably watching too much Fox News, which unbelievably continues to peddle the lies of that conman and his ultra-rich cronies.
It means you are ok with placing unqualified sycophants and quacks into the highest government positions. It means you are ok with allowing an extreme-right billionaire and his amateur accomplices to rip our government agencies apart piece by piece.
Remember that when you have trouble getting needed help from Social Security; when your community is ravaged by a flood or tornado and there’s limited federal aid; when unsafe products are back on the shelves; when there isn’t enough staff to fight forest fires or guide visitors at our national parks; when tax refunds get delayed; or when federal funding dries up for rural medical facilities, food safety, toxic waste cleanup, veterans services, weather forecasting, public education, medical research, disease prevention etc. etc.
Is this really what you want for America?

You are preaching to the choir. The super rich have the market cornered on the delivery of information and the means to do so. A whole new approach must be though up and implemented to be able to share these truths with anyone other that the people who are immune to the emotional software virus that is continually spread over the airwaves and internet. It disables ones ability to reason about any subjects that were being spoken of during the delivery of the virus. While we are working on the cure we need to be working on the method of delivery. That means getting between the victims and the source of the misleading information containing the virus that they are addicted to.
