Jan. 8, 2020—During their lunch at Stem & Stone, the Dem women’s group took another straw poll to determine their favorite Democratic presidential candidate among the 17 who will appear on the March primary ballot. For the first time, Amy Klobuchar took top honors. In fact, at the last luncheon in November, Klobuchar didn’t get any votes, but this time she led the pack with six votes. Next came Elizabeth Warren with four votes, followed by Pete Buttigieg with two votes.
The group meets next month on Wednesday, February 12, at Cedar’s Mediterranean Grill.
