Oct. 31, 2019—The Bastrop County Democratic Party members are in mourning today with the news of the passing of one of our own.
Anne Beck was one of the longest serving, most active volunteers the BCDP has been blessed with in its history. She volunteered her time as a community organizer and as a precinct chair for 23 years, ever since she and her husband Marvin moved to Bastrop in 1996. She also volunteered with numerous other local organizations around the county.
Her wisdom, guidance, and cheerful nature will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her husband and family in this difficult time.
