- Communications Committee:
- Committee Chair: Mary Liz Singleton
- Communications Committee shall communicate the efforts of the
executive committee and educate party members and the
general public. The committee will prepare, fact check and
distribute communication materials to the media
through email, website updates, flyers and social media.
- Coordinated Campaign Committee:
- Committee Chair: Allyson Jones
- Coordinated Campaign Committee shall coordinate campaigns in
Bastrop County, assist in forming steering committees, promote
precinct organization (canvassing, voter registration), establish
target precincts, organize early voting strategy and inform and
assist candidates. The Vice Chair of the BCDP shall chair this
committee.
- Events Committee:
- Committee Co-chairs: Connie Berhorst and Debbie Goertz
- Fundraising Committee:
- Committee Chair: Cindy Geisman
- Fundraising Committee shall conduct fundraising activities in
accordance with all pertinent state and federal rules and
regulations, and assist and advise the treasurer in monthly
reporting of the party’s fundraising status and recommending
related expenditures to the CEC.
- Legislative and Issues Committee:
- Committee Co-chairs: Kat Hammer and Kenya Gomez
- Issues and Legislative Committee shall study party positions and
recommend responses on local, state, and national issues. The
committee shall provide forums and education for the general
membership of the BCDP and for the public.
- Operations Committee:
- Operations Committee/Office Manager: Lynda MacLeod
- Operations Committee shall recruit volunteers, provide orientation for volunteers, staff headquarters, and in consultation with headquarters property trustees, manage the properties of the party including computers and electronics.
