At a special ceremony on Juneteenth (June 19), the Harriet Tubman traveling exhibition, “The Journey to Freedom,” was dedicated at the Kerr Community Center in Bastrop. Our own Dock Jackson led the ceremony. The exhibit is sponsored by Clint and Jamie Howard of Pyrology Foundry and Gallery and hosted by the Kerr Community Center through August 31.
