Results from Tuesday’s primary.
Congratulations to Ed Rivers, our nominee for County Judge, and to Bill Peterson, our nominee for Precinct 1 County Commissioner. Both gentlemen posted strong victories in their contested primaries.
On July 31st, there will be a runoff election in the primary for Precinct 4 County Commissioner, between Michael Flowers and Liston Crim. There will also be a statewide runoff in the U.S. Senate primary between Paul Sadler and Grady Yarbrough, and a runoff in Congressional District 27 primary between Rose Meza Harrison and Jerry Trevino.
NOTE: Those who voted in party primary or participated in a party convention process CANNOT vote in a different party’s primary runoff.
